Game Master

Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas brings 38 years of TTRPG experience to Nat 20, spanning multiple generations of the hobby as both a player and Game Master. His approach emphasizes collaborative storytelling, character development, improvisation, and allowing memorable stories to emerge naturally from the players, their choices, and the dice.

Beyond gaming, Michael has spent approximately 30 years in professional wrestling, along with experience in acting and stunt coordination. That background gives him decades of practical experience in character work, live performance, audience engagement, physical storytelling, timing, improvisation, and teamwork.

Garrett also holds a degree in video production, combining his experience behind the GM screen with an understanding of visual storytelling and production. He brings both a storyteller's perspective and a technical eye to creating experiences that work at the table and for an audience.

Player

Andre Chapoy

Andre Chapoy has been playing TTRPGs since D&D 1st Edition, bringing decades of experience as both a player and Game Master. His strengths at the table are character work, roleplay, vocal performance, and supporting the other players, preferably while keeping a straight face.

Andre studied opera at the LSU School of Music and brings more than 25 years of musical theater and stage experience and over 30 years of commercial voice work. He has also narrated several audiobooks, primarily in horror, and has extensive experience in video and post-production, giving him a deep understanding of performance, atmosphere, pacing, and production.

An Air Force veteran, Matt holds three degrees in film and creative writing and is a published author, giving him a strong foundation in character development, storytelling, and the creative process.

Matt is also an experienced podcaster with connections in the convention community. At the table, his quick humor, spontaneity, and willingness to commit completely to a moment bring an unpredictable energy to the ensemble, and just enough controlled chaos to keep everyone else guessing.

Executive Producer & Showrunner

Carlos

Carlos is the Executive Producer and Showrunner of Nat 20 or Die Tryin', bringing together decades of tabletop gaming, live performance, media, and storytelling experience.
